Note: some of the Matte transitions may have an Alpha channel i.e. the black area will actually be transparant. If that’s the case, you can use Alpha (or inverted Alpha) rather than LUM. If the Matte Transitions is actual black and white (no alpha) then you must use Lum (or Inverted Lum).
The easy way to use Matte Transitions in Davinci Resolve 17! There are a few places to get free matte transitions, I’ve linked a few for you to try below (or just head over to google and you’re sure to find some!).
